Claude Richard Naney was born on July 29, 1926, in the now forgotten town of Alamo in Huerfano County, and passed away July 5, 2017, in the city of Arvada, Colorado. In between, he was a combat veteran in World War II, a coal miner and spent most of his work career as an electrician at the CF&I. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Evangeline; his parents, Felix and Etta; all his siblings, Walter, Martha, Ethel, Felix Jr. and Ted. He leaves behind his daughter, Niki (Paul) Smith, and son, Walter Naney. Per his request, his obituary was to be kept simple and no services will be held. He was a good man and great husband and father. He will be missed.
