Virginia Rodriguez Trujillo (85), of Walsenburg, Co, was born on May 23, 1932, in Gardner, Co and entered into heaven on April 3, 2018. She is proceeded in death by her husband John (Esequiel) Rodriguez and husband Johnnie Augustine Trujillo, daughter Gloria Jean Gonzales,granddaughter Kenna Julia Rodriguez, sister Donnie Vigil, and infant son Ralphie Rodriguez. She is survived by her sons John (Edith) Rodriguez, Fred (Geri) Rodriguez, Frank Rodriguez, and Max (LeCita) Rodriguez, two grandsons that she raised James Kent "Horton" Campbell and John Allen "Louie" (Diana) Romero-Campbell, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great- great grandchildren, and her brother Richard Sandoval. Virginia was a mother, grandmother, or friend to everyone she met. Her table was always set and she always had food prepared in case someone stopped by. Virginia was a gentle and compassionate lady who loved life and her family. She will be greatly missed by many. The family would like to openly thank the medical staff at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, the ambulance service, and especially the Parkview Neuro Trauma ICU team- you are all angels of the medical field.
