Joyce Aguirre was a beautiful, kind and compassionate person. She was born to Leonard and Ophelia Martinez on March 27, 1947. Her life's joy was her family. She was married 46 years to the love of her life, Benedict. They were married in 1972 and resided in Gardner, CO where they raised their two daughters, Lisa and Claudia.

Joyce was always proud of her daughters. She provided them with unconditional love and support. Joyce loved and adored her grandchildren and was very close to each of them as well. Extra special moments in her life where when she became a great-grandmother. Joyce cherished every moment she spent with her family. Joyce Aguirre entered into Heaven on October 10, 2018.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Benedict Aguirre of Gardner, daughters Lisa Aguirre of Gardner and Claudia Garcia (Miguel) of Pueblo; grandchildren Randal, Victoria (Aron), Stephanie (Ian), Dana, Angel and Cynthia; and great-grandchildren Isabella and Avianna.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert Martinez, and sisters Vicki Chavka & Lillian Burch.

Services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gardner, CO on October 23, 2018 at 11 am.
